Renée Good was murdered by ICE agents on January 7th. Mere blocks from my own home. I visited the crime scene around noon that day to take photos. MPD had forced ICE to clear out of the area by the time I arrived. They were present along with the Hennepin County Sheriff, FBI, news media, and hundreds of onlookers and protesters.
I accidentally stumbled upon a large pool of blood on the ground. This was the spot where Renée was pulled from her vehicle and given CPR by EMS, eight minutes after being shot. ICE agents had previously blocked a physician on the scene from giving her medical attention. I don't know why this area was not taped off.
